Over the years, Marielle has written dozens of devised theater pieces with artists as young as five years old. She has created originally adaptations of The Marvels and Wonders of 1,001 Arabian Nights, The Sand Fairy, Pippi Longstocking, The Government Inspector and Haroun and the Sea of Stories.
Her original pieces have been workshopped at Adaptive Arts Theater Company, Oracle Theater Inc. (as part of their Truth Be Told Program), and Flux Theatre Ensemble (as part of their Flux Sunday Program).
Marielle's newest play The World to Come was recently produced by PlayXPlay.
The World to Come shares the story of two women and the children they lost. Split between the world of souls and the world of the living, the play explore the healthy and unhealthy ways we cope with death.
The cast featured: Ashley Bloom, Emily Hartford, Matthew Trumbull, Gabby Sherba, and Chinaza Uche.

On March 31st, 2014 Oracle Theater Inc presented an excerpt from The World to Come as part of their Truth be Told Series. The piece has also been developed with Flux Theatre Ensemble at their Flux Sunday events.
Marielle was commissioned by Brooklyn Acting Lab (formerly Young Players Theater) to write their first Theater for Young Audiences Production! In addition, she created pre and post- show materials to support the themes within the play for K-5 audiences.
Speaking Up! follows the journey of Ella, a shy young girl who, with a bit of magic, begins to find a voice of her own. Speaking Up! was performed for PS 58 students in Brooklyn in Spring '14 and was featured at Inspire Corps Gala.
